The Art of Discovery
My art arises through an evolutionary process—a continuous development marked by intense work and experimentation. It is less about pursuing a deeper meaning and more about the joy of artistic creation. In my abstract-figurative artworks, I often discover new details that I originally did not consciously paint. This openness and playful aspect is central to my work. The creative process affords me a freedom that is often limited in everyday life. I invite the viewer to look at my paintings with curiosity and to discover new facets that may be hidden.
Bridging Worlds: From Pewter to Canvas
Born into a family with deep artistic roots, I grew up on the creative soil of my grandparents in Germany and Austria. Their art shaped my earliest childhood, laying the foundation for my passion.
During my time at the Musisches Gymnasium in Salzburg, where I majored in Visual Education, a turning point in my artistic path came when one of my pieces was selected for an annual Zotter chocolate packaging. This recognition fueled my passion and inspired me to dedicate myself more deeply to art. In my free time, sometimes late into the night, I refined my skills by painting pewter figurines, a practice that eventually led to the creation of my first large-scale artworks.
My graphic studies at the Academy of Advertising Design allowed me to incorporate elements of my art into numerous graphic projects and expand my technical skills. A semester abroad in Rome compelled me to develop my style and techniques in a tiny 6m² room—a challenge that elevated my art to a new level and helped me create unique forms of expression.
After moving to Vienna to study Marketing and Sales, I deepened my artistic practice by continuing to paint intensely and further refining my style. The city, known for its rich cultural landscape, provided me with countless inspirations and opportunities for creative expression.
